Hello Again My Friend
That's about enough of that.
Hi.
It’s been a while since we’ve spoken. Here’s why.
The content I’d been producing centered around solo business. I had gained so many followers due to my article on Dan Koe helping to explain how he makes money (outdated article by the way, but still relevant). And I felt that with the number of people swimming and lost in the money making journey, I’d focus on talking about Solo Business.
But while I was having a love affair with Solo Business, what I truly wanted to do got buried.
See.
My brain has always been inquisitive. It’s always searching for that next level deeper. The system behind what makes things tick. It’s a big reason why the Dan Koe article hit so hard. It was a deconstruction of how his business model worked. How he grew. How to emulate it.
But my heart was never in Solo Business.
It is thoroughly interested in a few topics:
How the world itself works at a systemic level.
How that impacts specific groups of people.
And how it impacts individuals.
It’s like - take the same process that allowed me to illuminate Dan’s money making process… but apply it to the world at large. And that’s where I’ve always found meaning.
And so, my love affair with solo business is coming to an end today.
Instead, I’m on a new mission. To expose how the world works, expose how we’re being manipulated every day, expose the facts about where we actually stand right now compared to history, and to give suggestions on how we can navigate the future… both as a global society and as individuals.
It’s a much different focus. But one that I find intensely meaningful and impactful.
So.
This newsletter is moving from Signal or Noise, to I Drink, I Think. A place where we grab a few drinks together in corner of a dive bar and yell about philosophy, politics, and the world at large.
As a preview of what I’m working on right now:
What should we do about men? While the focus on crime and drug dealing in the US seems to be fully pointed at immigrants, you’re much more likely to be assaulted by your white male neighbor. What does that say about ICE, and America at large? And what do we do about it?
Poverty Causes Crime. A look into the causal link between poverty and crime, and an examination on whether our current policies will help or hurt crime rates. And then a deeper dive into why the powers that be might want MORE criminals, not less.
The Real Conspiracy is Boring. A look at popular conspiracy theories and why they are wholly unneccessary. The real conspiracy is hiding right in front of our faces if we just take a look.
We’ve Done This Before. A look at “libertarian” and “conversative” policies centered around “free market economics” from a historical context. It turns out we’ve run this experiment before… and it’s end results are predictable.
Both Sides Suck Is Naive. I’ve been hearing more and more people who didn’t vote in our last election. But by not voting, you are making a vote on what you consider to be acceptable.
The Pathology of Being Human. How we’ve turned normal human quirks into “dysfunction” and “something to be treated”. And my specific problem with the word “neurodivergent”.
And I’ve got a ton more behind those. I’m excited, and I hope you stick around.
If you’re not into this type of thing, I get it. I’ll leave you with a few things to check out from my business writing:
Those seemed to be the most consistently useful courses for people in the solo business space based on feedback.
I’m looking forward to continuing to explore the world with you. See you on the other side.
Long live “I Drink, I Think”.

I like this new direction. Definitely the topics worth reading about. I'm subscribing 🙌🏼
And cool publication name, by the way 🙂
It's good to see you here, man. It's been a process to dig deeper and deeper hasn't it?
Reality isn't always sunshine and rainbows, but it helps to know when and where it's going to rain, right?
