TLDR;
I’m going to be moving this newsletter to a different provider this weekend. This is to allow for better integration into my website moving forward as I work to centralize all my content there :)
I’m hosting an X space alongside my buddy Rob Rando. We’re going to be talking about the harms of building in public - and will be providing the alternative.
Oh hey.
Welcome to the last e-mail from this substack account. I’ll be moving my newsletter and email list to other platforms to allow for better integration into my website as I begin to centralize all my forms of help there.
But before then I want to let you know that I’ll be live and loud this Friday at 3:30pm EST with one of my Twitter OG friends, Rob Rando.
We’re going to be talking about Building in Public. We’ve both had some experience building in public - Rob even more so than me.
For both of us, the build in public phase ended up doing more harm than good. So we want to discuss:
How has building in public taken our businesses off course?
What is a good alternative?
When is building in public worth it?
But not just that!
We’d love to have this be a collaborative effort, so we’ll be hosting a QA for the second half around anything build-in-public. Come hear our perspectives and offer yours back to us :)

And a bit of housekeeping.
I’ll be moving this newsletter over to ConvertKit after this one last email. There was some infrastructure to build, and I’m going to be getting that done over the weekend. Come next week, you’ll be receiving this email from a different email address.
I might ask you for a lil favor then, but I’ll (actually) give you a goodie bag this time for pushing me to your inbox.

See you on the other side :)
